Synopsis

Kathirvelan falls for Cristina at a temple festival. To be close to her, he gives up his plans of going abroad and joins her college. She doesn�t reject him, nor does she fully accept his feelings. A separate couple in their college elopes for a register marriage due to caste issues. For signing as witnesses, Kathirvelan and Cristina provide their Aadhaar and ration cards. Later, Cristina�s family arranges her engagement with a Christian groom. A shocking twist emerges � the priest in their family finds a marriage certificate showing Cristina and Kathirvelan as a married couple. Due to corrupt officials registering marriages for money without the bride and groom present, the witness documents were misused. To cancel this, Cristina frequently visits the registrar�s office in secret, leading to suspicion from her fianc�s family. Cristina�s family strongly opposes her marrying a man from another faith, especially after her sister�s tragic past.
